On the one hand, Babyshambles are what their name stands for, on the other hand, there’s an allusion to Jonathan Swift's satiric essay, A Modest Proposal. On the whole, it’s another music brainchild of the well-known rebel Pete Doherty. A vocalist/guitarist/composer/provoker, he rose to the status of one of the most popular people in the British show business after becoming frontman of the punk rock band The Libertines and beginning to systematically disturb public order.
