Brainstorm (LAT)

Brainstorm have finally finished working on their album in English, Years and Seconds, and now they are happy to inform their fans that it's due for release in the Baltic states on March 15. Moreover, on finishing their studio work, Brainstorm are going to throw themselves into the touring life, so much more that they have a lot to boast about - for instance, the fact that, apart from the Brainstorm musicians, the lyrics for several songs have been co-written by other artists, quite authoritative in the international show business. One of the album's key tracks, Count My Fingers, features lyrics from the Travis frontman Fran Healy, who was deeply impressed by Brainstorm's gig in London. Healy says he was astonished by Renars's vocals and the way he communicated with the audience - Fran liked the drive and originality of Brainstorm's musical ideas and felt that the bands had a lot in common.
Just like the Russian version of the album, Years and Seconds features a hip hop influence. A Mercury Award nominee, British rapper TY has brought a bit of his own - the lyrics and the flow - into the song To Deliver Brightness.

That's the bunch of pleasant surprises Brainstorm are going to tour with. The tour is to start in the capital of Belarus on the last day of February, and in the following spring months, the band's fans will see the musicians in Russia, Lithuania, Estonia, the UK and the USA.

On March 5 and 6, Brainstorm will be playing gigs at B1 MAXIMUM Club, Moscow.
