##### are probably the most popular and successful Belarusian alternative band. They formed in 2001 in Vitebsk, a city in northern Belarus. The city where such people were born as Samuil Marshak, Kazimir Malevich and Marc Chagall happens to be the home city for ##### as well.

Their career is rather short yet, but they have already released three full-fledged albums and played an important part in the formation of the Russian-speaking heavy music scene. Ignored by radio stations and television, #####, however, have managed to be heard and gained hundreds of thousands of devoted fans across the entire post-Soviet area. Their albums, songs and videos have received nominations and prizes at such awards as RAMP and Fuzz. The band is a regular performer at the major festivals of the country and the near-abroad countries (Nashestviye, Emmaus, Snikers Urbania, Slavyanski Bazar), and they have played alongside such monsters as Korn and Stone Sour.

Their music embraces lots of genres including nu metal, thrash metal, hip hop, punk rock, drum’n’bass, techno, ragga jungle and so on. The musicians describe their style as a blend of the severe black-dance-gabba-core with ethereal ballet-punk and god knows what else…

On January 30, 2010, Moscow’s biggest concert venue, B1 MAXIMUM, will see ##### present their new album, Pandemia, on which they have been working for the last two years with the renowned Danish sound producer Jakob Hansen. European quality, Russian severity and Belarusian soulfulness will be there for everyone who’ll come to the gig.
