Hypocrisy (SWE)

The Swedish metal band Hypocrisy was formed in 1990 as a solo project of Peter Tägtgren. Hypocrisy's first demo was recorded entirely by Tägtgren himself on vocals, keyboards and guitar. He managed to attract other musicians after findning a record company ready to take the risk of a collaboration with the novice.

The band started from dreadful musical experiments which from album to album grew more and more professional, and finally Hypocrisy turned all their previous sound chaos into high quality contemporary music. Once a brutal death metal band, Hypocrisy in over a decade have shaped their own, distinctive and harsh sound which, combined with their extreme solos, won?t let your brain sleep tight.

Hypocrisy have so far released 12 albums; they've successfully toured half the world, and within their new tour the band will be performing in Moscow.
