On November 10, B1 MAXIMUM will see a unique event – King Crimson Festival – within which there will be celebrated the 30th birthday of Eddie Jobson’s supergroup called UK. The set list embraces the King Crimson and UK greatest hits.

The upcoming King Crimson Festival is different from 2008’s one in that Eddie Jobson isn’t coming here alone but with his British-American supergroup U-Z, formed this year and marked to the 30th birthday of the legendary prog rock band UK (where Jobson used to be band leader). Eddie Jobson’s new incarnation features the greatest instrumentalists only, including Greg Howe, guitarist of the deceased Michael Jackson’s best line-up, and Marco Minnemann, hailed as one of the world’s best drummers ever.

Eddie Jobson, as you know, is a member of the legendary King Crimson line-up of the 1970s, famed for his unique electric violin part in “Larks’ Tongues in Aspic”. He also formed the supergroup UK, played with Jethro Tull, Frank Zappa’s band, to name but two, and has for several years (with the UK) been known as the leader of prog rock and best keyboards and electric violin player.

U-Z line-up:
Eddie Jobson – keyboards, electric violin, electronics
Greg Howe – guitar
Ric Fierabracci – bass
Marco Minnemann – percussion

Adrian Belew Power Trio – King Crimson’s permanent guitar player and lead vocalist’s band –will be headlining the festival.

Adrian Belew Power Trio:
Adrian Belew – vocals, guitar
Julie Slick – bass
Eric Slick – percussion
