On March 8, B1 Club will see who the Russian folk rock scene is proud of – the Melnitsa band. The idea of playing a gig on International Women’s Day belongs to Melnitsa’s musicians, and it’s going to be a double spring congratulation: on the one hand, all female folk rock fans will have an opportunity to listen to their favorite hits at B1, including the new song “Prizrachniye Koni” (Ghost Horses) which has been so far performed by the band at their Christmas gigs only. On the other hand, the upcoming gig will be a present for Melnitsa’s vocalist, Natalia ‘Hellawess’ O’Shea, as she will be herself making the set list for the holiday gig.See the main hope of the national folk rock music on International Women’s Day – Melnitsa at B1 on March 8.
