Asher (DJ Skazi) and Assaf (DJ B-Bass), also known as Skazi project, have been playing together since 1998. The true trance virtuosos feature a unique style, often called trance rock or guitar trance, which embraces Psy-Trance and furious guitar riffs in line with the greatest hard rock traditions.

Skazi, however, are more than a fusion of electronica and live music – they produce a sensation of the inner equilibrium, a harmony of sounds, rhythm and melody. Their positive energy and togetherness with the audience have gained an incredible worldwide popularity to the style and the project. Some even call it a Psych-o-Funk extravangza. Currently, such bands as Exaile and Xenomorph, among others, use akin styles.

Before 1998, Asher had for seven years successfully performed in Jerusalem’s rock band called Sartan Hashad and three years in Rock Ba-Yarok. Assaf, while DJing in Israel’s clubs from 1992, created Mental Orange project, which later became part of Skazi. What they do is very popular around the world and the project is a regular at music festivals such as Fuji Rock Festival (Japan), The Gathering (Australia), Exxpirience (Brazil), Fool Moon Festival (Germany), Boom Festival (Portugal), and Optical Matrix (Austria)...

From 2001 to 2004, Skazi released 3 compilations, sold very successfully the world over. More than 100 tracks found their way into over 40 trance compilations. 2005 saw the release of DVD Hit & Run World Tour featuring Skazi’s performances in Russia, Japan, Brazil, Israel and Mexico.

In 2008, Sepultura’s guitarist joined the project.

February of 2010 will mark the release of Skazi’s new album. Its presentation will be held on the night of February 6/7 at Sobytie Festival at B1.

SUN Project are the first musicians ever to fuse trance and rock music. Their career began in 1995. 13 years saw the band release 9 albums and numerous tracks to enter various compilations. The project features a one-off sound and eccentric live performances.
